Admission to Turkey Creek Nature Preserve is always FREE, but maintaining it is NOT! Please visit our support page to learn how you can help keep TCNP open.

Turkey Creek Nature Preserve is always closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, as well as all major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day).

Operation hours change seasonally, and are subject to change without notification

Trespassers who enter during non-operational hours will be prosecuted

  1. Mr. Massey, we are not involved in the dam removal, that is being done by the Freshwater Land Trust. The dam is not located in the Turkey Creek Nature Preserve, it is upstream on private property. If you would like more details, I would suggest contacting the Freshwater Land Trust.

  2. On weekends when the park is not open for cars from 7am -9am, is it possible to bring bicycles and ride them on the streets that go through the park?

  3. Marjorie, Yes, the Preserve is open year round. The only change is that we do close earlier in the winter, this usually occurs with daylight savings.
